I AM THE TABLE!...and chair

A great man once said "I AM THE TABLE".

Here is our table and chair combo modeled and textured by this guy! (I am pointing at myself with my thumbs like a cool guy right now). Hard to see in from this angle but if you can name the two bands that have their logos featured in the texture you get 100 coolness point (they add up people). Make it 1000 coolness points due to the angle.

So here he is Carlos Sanchez the new Barry!

Everybody (Backstreet's Back) - Backstreet's Back

The Backstreet Boys (sometimes referred to as BSB) are an American vocal harmony group, formed in Orlando, Florida in 1993. The group consists of A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell. They rose to fame with their debut international album, Backstreet Boys (1996). In the following year, they released their second international album Backstreet's Back (1997) and their U.S. debut album which continued the group's success worldwide. They rose to superstardom with their third studio album Millennium (1999) and its follow-up album, Black & Blue (2000).

After a two-year hiatus, they regrouped and released a comeback album Never Gone (2005). Richardson left the group after the conclusion of Never Gone Tour in 2006 to pursue other interests. The group then released two albums as a quartet: Unbreakable (2007) and This Is Us (2009).

In April 2012, the group announced that Richardson had rejoined them permanently, and in August, they made their very first performance as a reunited five-piece, closing out Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series. Their first album back as a quintet, In a World Like This, which was also their first independent album, was released in July 2013.

The Backstreet Boys have sold over 130 million records worldwide, making them the best-selling boy band in history, and one of the world's best-selling music artists. They are the first group since Sade to have their first nine albums reach the top 10 on the Billboard 200. They also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 22, 2013.

The Stars of the Show

Every film has it's stars. The people everyone forks over their hard earned money to see ply their craft on the big screen. We could have gotten Kiefer Sutherland or Michael J. Fox to be in our film but we had a meeting and we said to ourselves "You know what? we don't need no big Hollywood actor to be a success, We will make our own stars." This brings us to the two stars of our show, Barry and his unwanted visitor.

Below are videos of the progress of our two characters as they are engineered by our mighty Character modelers. The left model is the first pass and the right one shows a weeks worth of progress.

Blood, Sweat & Pre-Vis

The past week has been very busy times here at L.A.T.E Productions. With the story changes it had put us even further behind schedule, we had to go from a few quick and rough storyboard panels to a fully storyboarded and 3D Pre-visualised piece in less than a week or face embarrassment in front of a panel of guest judges that included, but was not limited to, the mighty Salim Tighnavard.

Many deemed it to be an impossible task but the group put in a monster effort and sacrificed sleep and good times to make sure we not only met the criteria but we exceeded it. Now, for the first time in this crazy world we call home you get to feast your eyes on our efforts. Enjoy the storyboards and 3D pre-vis videos.

Out with the old

There has been alot of moving and shaking going on here at Late Afternoon Tea in the Evening productions. The original story has been disposed of and a new story has taken its place. The first story involved a woman (Sheila) coming home to find a kangaroo having a good ol' Aussie BBQ. We couldn't quite get the story as solid as we liked but I think we came up with some pretty good stuff. So here us our works of art that will now, thanks to the internet, see the light at the end of the tunnel.

The storyboard art for the old story. The story was scrapped before the art could be edited to be uniformly pretty. Story boards by Dominic Piperata and Steven Craig

We still believe there is a good story to tell there but with time constraints on the writing process we had to abandon it for something equally awesome but easier to write (stay tuned). So if you see a story there and you think "Hey this thing could really be a hit"(and it can...you know it can) contact us, make an offer and if you're cool we might consider selling our idea to you at a reasonably ridiculous price.
